The mission of Art instruction at Howland High School is that we will strive to create quality work while learning about the art process, art history, aesthetics, and art criticism. The Art lessons are also geared toward challenging the student with the purpose of developing a more responsible character, such as determination, self-discipline, confidence and self-esteem. Art for the 2023-2024 school year will be exciting, fresh and fun, but most importantly a step toward helping students expand their dreams while allowing them to becoming great leaders and citizens in our community. - Mr. Young
